Was satisfied with my glasses however the Lens 's coating began to peel, resulting in loosing the ability to see, clearly, I called the store, to complain, at first they could not find the paperwork, called another sears they were able to locate and verify that I purchased the glasses from then, however stated, they could not replace my glasses or repair them ( this was through the manufacture and no fault of mine) because I did not purchase the $25.00 insurance plan which was not offered to me. I do not recommend Sears as an optical shop. It was suggested I should take this further. Still have same glasses causing major problems with sight, person I spoke with was uncaring.

They took three weeks to deliver one of the two pair of glasses I ordered.. I had one paif back order. The lady was so rude. She was so busy talking to a friend in the store she did not even fit my new set! My glasses they said were top notch broke the SAME DAY I got them. To top that all of my second pair on back order had a flaw in the lense and had to be sent back. I am now over a month waiting for a oair to where! I WILL NOT GO BACK!!! Cheap china made junk and poor customer service. I never write reviews, but this one I had to write! Stay away from Sears Opitical in Couer d Alene Idaho!

The eye doctor was great but the evil woman answering phones makes you want to never deal with them. I called ahead to see if my glasses were ready and was asked to hold. 4 minutes passed and then the receptionist answered in a harsh tone to ask what I needed. I asked her if my glasses were ready and she said yes so I told her I would be right over and she "Ok, Bye" I got their 15 minutes later to find a sign on the door saying "back in an hour." You think the lady could have mentioned that she would be closing for an hour mid-day ? What lack of respect for my time. Rude, Rude, Rude.

You do not want to go to the Richmond Sears Optical Center. When I went, the woman I dealt with was a complete condescending nightmare. She looks down her nose at the customers, and she has the gall to lecture customers! She was snide and rude and had the nerve to gossip about me to another employee while I was looking at glasses to buy from her store! I left immediately and will never return. They have forever lost my money--and I hope you don't waste yours on such horrid treatment. Also, I bought stellar glasses online for 1/4 of the cost!
