When I was searching countertops for our kitchen, I had done my research and knew what our budget would allow. I was resigned to a couple different granite choices for which I was not head-over-heals. The granite that I had sighed over for months was clearly out of our grasp. Unit I met Jon from Stone-Tree.. I had already done the legwork and knew enough about natural stone that I wasn't a total novice, so when Jon offered to do our countertops in MY to-die-for stone at an unbelievable price , I could not say "yes-do it" fast enough. Jon gave me the bid, and within a couple of days Alex came out to do the template. I was expecting a houseful of guests about 10 days later, and they had my countertops installed well in time and perfectly. The seams are amazing and can hardly be seen. The c-tops are absolutely beautiful, the biggest WOW in my kitchen, and I am so thankful that I found Stone-Tree . I have recommended them to everyone I know that is in the market for natural stone.

We went to the 2009 Home Show at the Energy Excel Center to look for granite countertops. We visited with many businesses but none would give us a price per sq. ft. That is untill we talked with Jon at Stone-Tree. He was very friendly and seemed very trustworthy. This proved to be very true. We told him we lived in the Duluth area and he said that was no problem. Within a few days he was at our house measuring and a few days later we met him at the granite showroom. It was very fun looking at all the different samples and price ranges. We made our choice and very shortly after that the installers were at our house. One of the pieces did not fit perfectly and instead of calling it close enough Dmitri went back to their shop and cut a new piece, returning 2 days later. This shows the integrity of Jon and Dmitri. We are extremely happy we chose Stone-Tree and love our new countertops. Thank you very much from Jim/Jenny.

Outstanding quality and service, for an incredibly reasonable price! It was such an enjoyable experience working with Stone-Tree and we couldn't be happier with our granite counter tops. I'll be recommending Stone-Tree to all my friends and family!!

I found Stone Tree on Craig's List and made a call one morning. By that afternoon Jon was at my house talking to me about installing Granite Counter tops in our kitchen remodel. I stressed that we were working on a tight budget and had planned on a laminate counter top. Jon worked with us and found a granite that was very close to our budget. I was full of questions & each time I called or emailed, the response was very prompt. The time schedule projected came in a few days early. I highly recommend Stone Tree and would use this company again.

My wife and I have been shopping for granite countertops for several weeks (internet and local contractors) and we found that Jon was very knowledgeable about his products compared to the others. He patiently worked with us as we were evaluating different companies. He was honest and very candid and we didn't feel any sales pressure which made it very easy for us to talk to him. At the end, he wasn't the cheapest but we thought that overall he offered the best product and service--and we were right! I've read all sorts of horror stories about various contractors that did similar jobs (google 'granite gone wrong') and we just wanted to have that peace of mind that we won't be in the same predicament. Jon did not disappoint! From our first meeting to the installation, everything just went smoothly. We now have a gorgeous countertop and my wife and I can't be happier!
